About
Amandine’s background brings together teaching, jewellery making, and art history. She first worked as an English teacher, an experience that sparked a lasting interest in how people understand, interpret, and give meaning to what they encounter across linguistic and cultural contexts.

Today, that curiosity extends to art and visual cultures, and to the ways audiences encounter images and objects.

Over time, Amandine’s approach has brought together several strands of work to form a coherent practice in which making, research, and reflection inform one another. Drawing on a distinctive combination of skills and experiences, she has developed a perspective that moves fluidly between hands-on practice and academic inquiry, supporting a research-informed approach to interpretation and meaning-making.
